Carolyn Stern, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician.  She is Deaf from birth due to maternal Rubella (German measles).

Al Spanjer was born in Chicago, Illinois.  He is the 5th (of 7!) hearing child from Deaf parents.  He grew up in the Deaf community as a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA).
